What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can use GIS, mapping, and data analysis to support natural resources and sustainable development goals. I want collaborative teams, continuous improvement, and opportunities to deliver training and high-quality, accurate spatial outputs.

I’m an energetic, fast learner, and solution-oriented Cartography and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) professional with a strong focus on data analysis, mapping, and visualization. I enjoy explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and I aim to increase the effectiveness of services by making the most use of accessible resources.

I hold a Master of Science in Cartography and Geographical Information System (GIS) from Hohai University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education with Geography and Linguistics. In my work, I produce and edit maps, acquire external data, perform data queries, and manipulate GIS geodatabases—while ensuring accuracy, adherence to standards, and clear outputs for stakeholders.

As a GIS Specialist (NHDLS Corporation), I worked with ESRI ArcGIS to produce and edit maps, support users, and handle data manipulation using ESRI ArcGIS geodatabases alongside MS Access. Part-time, as a Cartographer (Asplundh Tree Expert), I created cartographic products using ArcGIS, QGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite, collaborated with clients on custom mapping needs, and presented findings and recommendations.

I also bring training and research experience: I’ve trained staff and students, prepared monthly reports, and delivered lessons (including mental mathematics and geography). My project work includes event coordination and data collection for research on challenges facing young girls, and academy research on monitoring lake changes using satellite altimetry in the Nile Basin.
