What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue providing remote interpretation that ensures confidential, culturally sensitive communication—especially for LEP patients, refugees, and underserved communities—while supporting equitable access to healthcare and essential services.

I’m a Medical Interpreter with over 4 years of professional experience providing high-quality Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI). I’m fluent in Kinyarwanda and have advanced (C2) proficiency in English, which helps me support clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive communication.

In my roles, I interpret across healthcare, legal, and community/humanitarian contexts, assisting Limited English Proficiency (LEP) patients in navigating healthcare systems and responding efficiently to urgent, high-stress calls while maintaining neutrality. I’m known for professionalism and confidentiality, including strict HIPAA compliance, and I bring strong ethical decision-making, active listening, and note-taking/terminology research to improve patient understanding and provider–patient trust.
