Preeha Sohail
@preehasohail
Research assistant combining predictive analytics, UX design, and health AI.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Research Assistant focused on improving opioid use disorder care through predictive analytics, human-centered design, and applied health AI. My work connects clinical research needs with rigorous analytics to build tools that clinicians and patients can actually use.
In my honors thesis, I used predictive analytics and time-lagged mixed-effects logistic regression in Python to model clinician adoption patterns, evaluate effects on clinical workflows, and generate validated behavioral outcome measures and visualizations. I also completed computational training in neural data analysis, behavioral statistics, and MATLAB-based experimental design, strengthening how I structure problems and interpret results.
At Friends Research Institute, I recruit participants, abstract data from EMRs, and support clinical research while adhering to IRB, HIPAA, and GCP standards. I design culturally responsive training materials for Peer Counselors and lead hospital-based trainings on Standard Medical Management to improve screening, treatment initiation, and retention with patient-centered communication.
I’ve also built and deployed an NLP-powered chatbot using QliqSOFT to deliver personalized support and automated referrals to social services. Across projects, I aim to translate advanced methods into clear, user-tested systems—where evidence, usability, and health equity reinforce each other.
