What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level SOC Analyst role where I can triage alerts, analyze logs/pcaps, and improve threat detections using playbooks and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK—while learning fast with clear feedback.

I’m a recent Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science) graduate and cybersecurity enthusiast with hands-on SOC operations experience in threat detection, log analysis, and incident response. Through LetsDefend and TryHackMe, I’ve practiced SOC alert triage—classifying true vs. false positives, documenting incident timelines, and applying structured remediation steps.

I bring a strong blue-team foundation in networking, Linux, and detection frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and Pyramid of Pain. I also supplement my SOC work with security labs and projects, including web application penetration testing mapped to OWASP Top 10, Linux security practice (OverTheWire Bandit), and hands-on investigation of suspicious traffic patterns by correlating Wireshark captures with SIEM endpoint logs.
