I built hands-on SOC experience through self-configured Wazuh and Splunk SIEM home labs, simulating attacks and investigating alerts across Windows and Linux environments.
In my Wazuh lab, I deployed an isolated three-VM SOC environment, simulated port scans, brute-force attacks, and privilege-escalation attempts from Kali Linux, and mapped detections to MITRE ATT&CK techniques including T1046 and T1110.
I also built Splunk log pipelines with Sysmon telemetry, SPL searches, and dashboards for threat hunting. My Python background includes developing a multi-threaded TCP/UDP port scanner with a Tkinter interface.
