At Coforge Limited (Client: Santander UK), I led enterprise data governance strategy for the HR domain—collaborating with the Group Chief Data Office and UK stakeholders to define and implement the governance operating model. I designed and implemented an end-to-end data domain framework, identifying 200+ critical data elements (CDEs) and establishing data ownership and stewardship, while standardising the business glossary (reducing redundant terms by 30%). I also integrated DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) processes by mapping systems, defining lineage, and establishing control mechanisms, leveraging Informatica Axon and an Enterprise Data Catalog for metadata management and lineage tracking.

Previously at HSBC Chief Data Office, I led regional data stewardship for Wholesale Banking across UK and Middle East, covering governance, data quality, issue management, privacy, and information lifecycle management. I chaired monthly Data Governance forums on behalf of the Regional Chief Data Officer, improving country-level data quality scores by 3.4%, and I delivered lineage and impact analysis for critical banking processes including KYC, onboarding, and customer data management. Earlier, I established the Global Data Quality Issue Management framework across 40+ countries for Commercial Banking, using a Target Operating Model (TOM) with SLAs and severity matrix, and driving root-cause analysis using SQL and SAS.
