Having contributed and analyzed numerous open source and work projects with very little assistance, I have discovered that I possess the ability to work independently and dissect the source code to understand the project and quickly bring myself up to speed with the related languages, concepts, tools and technologies. This ability has enabled me to work on multiple projects within my team - adding features, fixing bugs and making significant contributions along the way.

I believe having a strong base in computer science fundamentals plays a major role and enables me to become a quick learner of its related concepts. I am able to ramp up relatively quickly and familiarize myself with the project with small latency to my first contribution.

I do not like to constrain myself with a single language as I believe every language has its own philosophy along with its pros and cons. Having worked with many of them, I believe I have picked up the fundamental concepts as this enables me to pick up new languages relatively quickly.

While at TomTom, I solved a blocker problem of extracting centerline from irregular polygons in order for them to be ingested as road geometries. Multiple senior devs had tried their hand at solving this problem earlier. I have also, on multiple occasions, peeked at, modified, open source code in order to solve bugs and also to customize them to integrate into the team's projects.

At Optmyzr, I spearheaded the API migration from Adwords to Google Ads API. Almost all tools of Optmyzr are based on this API. Was the head and point of contact for everything Rule Engine, a tool available only on higher-priced plans for advanced users.
