Enabled country-based blocking (GeoIP) for LAN protection by designing a mechanism to insert Linux firewall rules and rebuilding the deprecated kernel database module required for GeoIP support. Reduced per-request DNS latency by 5x by refactoring a legacy DNS filter using Clean Code principles.

Enabled WiFi support for x86-64 devices by customizing the Yocto-based embedded Linux platform with custom build recipes and meta-layers. Developed a C++ module integrating with the NetworkManager library to receive and parse JSON configuration over WebSockets.

Built a full-stack Python analytics platform (Dash/Plotly) ingesting performance data from NeoLoad, Dynatrace, Splunk, and Oracle EBS. Developed a reusable transaction-comparison view in Plotly/Dash and designed configurable delta-comparison tables using pandas.

Engineered C/C++ firmware for WiFi/LoRa mesh networks, achieving a per-hop range of up to 2km between nodes. Delivered the first functional Node-to-Gateway data path by implementing the WiFi-to-LoRa uplink path and completed full bidirectional mesh connectivity.

Investigated a critical customer-reported issue where batteries discharged within days instead of meeting the 10-year warranty spec, identifying high storage temperature as the root cause using a data logger and sensors. Led relocation of stock to cold storage after reporting findings to engineering.

Developed an Arduino-based embedded system for a solar panel charge controller research project, adjusting the controller's duty cycle and using sensors to capture voltage, current, power, and temperature. Transmitted sensor data over WiFi to a Firebase-based monitoring server for remote analysis.
