I've led financial reporting, consolidation, product control, and IFRS implementation across Discovery, Sanlam Pan Africa, Liberty Africa Insurance, ABSA, and Compass Insurance. In my current Discovery finance leadership roles, I support IFRS-compliant reporting, regulatory submissions, equity accounting, planning, audit readiness, and financial analysis.
At Sanlam Pan Africa, I managed seven Chartered Accountant financial managers and delivered IFRS 17 training, testing, ERP rollouts, consolidated reporting, cost oversight, and reinsurance accounting across African entities. I was tasked with starting a finance operations centre of excellence for product-related accounting.
I'm a Chartered Accountant focused on integrity, continuous learning, strong relationships, and consistently high standards of work. I've also automated reinsurance finance and reconciliation processes and supported digital finance tools including OneStream, Finnivo, BlackLine, TM1, HFM, and Power BI.
