I’m a Data Analyst at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance, where I create SQL queries and recurring reports that support policy dividend calculations, hurricane claim data pulls, and demographic insights for marketing. I build Power BI dashboards to visualize loss ratios, average bound premium, and month-over-month policy cancellation trends, and I validate results through UAT and QA testing.

I also focus on the data foundation behind those deliverables. Using Ellie.ai, I draft conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support dashboard frameworks, and I analyze internal and external data to ensure alignment with GUARD’s data governance policies. I draft data governance policies via Miro to ensure PII is properly encrypted, and I collaborate with data engineers on data quality rules in Microsoft Fabric pipelines.

Beyond reporting, I’ve helped streamline how teams work—leading an evaluation that eliminated over 200 nonessential reports to reduce employee workload. Before my analytics role, I served as a Senior Retention Representative at Prudential Financial, formulating projections in Service Ability and helping improve life insurance policies through actionable contract and investment changes.
