Paul Anukem

I've built an end-to-end energy behavior platform at Dalhousie University's Persuasive Computing Lab, combining a Flutter app, FastAPI backend, personalized conservation tips, and push notifications. The work contributed to an IEEE IS'26 peer-reviewed paper on EnergyWise.

I designed the platform for RCT-ready research with secure consent, cohort assignment, outcomes logging, and a retrieval-augmented knowledge base using public energy data, LLMs, and hybrid search.

Across Sailboatlabs, Dbestech, Freeport Financial Group, and Central University, I've delivered full-stack web and mobile products, including a radio station platform, alumni app, gas station management app, CMSs, and AI-driven application features. I've owned products end to end, from APIs and databases through responsive interfaces, testing, deployment, and performance tuning.

I'm also a tutor and mentor who has created full-stack engineering tutorials for more than 2,000 students, guided junior developers, and contributed to the Flutter and Jaspr/Dart ecosystems. I value clean architecture, test-driven development, secure systems, and practical software that people can use.
