I've taught Portuguese as a Foreign Language for over eight years, currently delivering tailored professional language courses with Babel UK and personalised adult courses through Chris Polatch Language Specialists.

I create engaging online and face-to-face lessons for children, teenagers, and adults, adapting materials, grammar, pronunciation, conversation, and assessments to each learner's goals. I've also conducted GCSE Portuguese speaking assessment and supported students with diverse learning needs as a teaching assistant.

Alongside teaching, I proofread English-to-Portuguese translations and narrated Portuguese children's stories for multilingual learning resources. My MA in Translation supports my work across Portuguese-English translation, intercultural communication, and language learning.
