Patrick DeBan

I am an experienced operations, maintenance, and people-management professional with more than 20 years of experience across manufacturing, industrial operations, maintenance planning, workforce supervision, human resources, training, and military service. My career has been built around solving operational problems, improving processes, coordinating people and resources, and helping organizations run more efficiently.

I began my professional career in the U.S. Navy as a sonar technician, where I developed a strong foundation in technical operations, troubleshooting, teamwork, training, accountability, and working effectively in high-pressure environments. Since then, I have held leadership and operational roles in manufacturing, maintenance, facilities, human resources, and workforce management.

My experience includes maintenance planning and scheduling, production and workforce coordination, purchasing, vendor and contractor management, safety and compliance, employee training, onboarding, documentation, process improvement, customer issue resolution, and cross-functional project coordination. I have supervised teams, managed competing priorities, developed schedules and work plans, and worked closely with employees, leadership, vendors, customers, and other departments to keep operations moving.

I hold an MBA, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and I enjoy finding practical ways to combine technology with operations. I am experienced with Microsoft 365, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other digital business tools. I have also built an AppSheet application to help manage vehicle, maintenance, and training information, giving me firsthand experience identifying a business problem and creating a technology-based solution for it.

One of my greatest strengths is the ability to bridge the gap between frontline operations and management. I understand both the day-to-day realities of getting work completed and the larger business requirements involving cost, productivity, schedules, quality, safety, documentation, and employee performance.

I am particularly interested in fully remote opportunities in operations management, project or program coordination, implementation, customer operations, training, workforce management, business operations, maintenance or facilities planning, and process improvement. I am also interested in organizations that are adopting AI, automation, and modern digital tools to improve the way their teams work.
