I’m a Junior Back-End Java Developer with 2 years of hands-on experience building backend systems, integrating databases, and developing REST APIs across healthcare and enterprise environments. I focus on creating reliable, scalable solutions that meet real-world business needs, with a strong foundation in Java 8/11/17, J2EE, and backend frameworks.

In my current role at HealthOne Medical, I enhance backend modules using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Hibernate to support scheduling, messaging, and appointment-tracking systems. I designed and implemented a patient text messaging system integrating Node.js, Twilio API, and MySQL, reducing appointment no-shows and improving patient communication efficiency, while also building and maintaining RESTful APIs for seamless front-end to backend communication.

I also support modernization efforts by migrating modules toward a microservices architecture for improved scalability and maintainability, managing MySQL and PostgreSQL with optimized queries and stored procedures. I deploy and monitor services on AWS and Azure using Docker containers and Jenkins pipelines, and I validate quality through JUnit, Mockito, and Postman—working in Agile sprints with Jira, peer reviews, and continuous improvement. I’m highly motivated to keep learning and build secure, efficient, high-performing backend systems, reinforced by an Amazon Junior Software Developer Specialization certification.
