Pallabi Das

At the Dept. of Disaster Management & Civil Defence, Govt. of West Bengal, I supported district-level planning, stakeholder coordination, and technical reporting. I also conducted risk assessment and capacity-building activities aligned with national frameworks.

During my Ph.D. in Wildlife Science at the Wildlife Institute of India / Saurashtra University, I conducted biodiversity surveys and ecological assessments across agroforestry landscapes. I used GIS and R for biodiversity monitoring, habitat assessment, and ecological data analysis.

At the Zoological Survey of India, I undertook taxa-based biodiversity surveys and species identification. I prepared ecological records and supported field research teams.

My work includes a contribution to the Haryana State Biodiversity Strategy & Action Plan (2021–2030), research published in Journal of Threatened Taxa, and presentations at scientific conferences. I also pursued the Executive Certificate Programme in Sustainability Management at IIM Mumbai, with a specialization in EIA.
