Designed and delivered Environmental Studies and Science of Living Systems curricula, and independently built and launched a new course on Industrial Ecology and Design for Sustainability for 3rd-year engineering students.

Led a landscape-level insect biodiversity and pest survey across 35 villages in Gurgaon and Faridabad, delivering pest–land use analysis to inform local agricultural stakeholders.

Led a multidisciplinary field team surveying birds, fish, insects, vegetation, and above-ground biomass across a 15 km Himalayan river stretch for a proposed infrastructure project. Delivered baseline ecological data covering 50 bird, 5 fish, and 70 plant species, with habitat assessments mapped along the altitudinal gradient.

Led fish diversity documentation across the Koyna River system (Western Ghats), spanning Sahyadri Tiger Reserve, Chandoli, and Radhanagri Wildlife Sanctuaries, in direct coordination with Maharashtra Forest Department officials. Co-authored a published field identification guide supporting conservation and public engagement.

Led a DST-funded research programme on fish taxonomy, ecology, and diversity across 65+ rivers, streams, and rivulets in the Upper Subansiri Basin, Arunachal Pradesh. Applied multivariate statistical analysis to quantify relationships between habitat heterogeneity, water quality, and species assemblages across 30+ field sites; presented results at 4 international and national seminars.

Conducted habitat and occurrence assessments across 20 alluvial grasslands for the critically endangered Bengal Florican; data submitted to the Uttar Pradesh State Biodiversity Board.

PhD in Wildlife Sciences from the Wildlife Institute of India and Saurashtra University, completed in 2023.

MSc in Environment Management from the Forest Research Institute Deemed to be University, completed in 2013.

BSc (Hons) in Zoology from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, completed in 2011.
