I'm completing an M.Sc. in Environment Science and Disaster Management at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute, building on a Geography honours degree from West Bengal State University.
During my WWF-India Sundarbans Delta Program internship, I researched links between extreme weather events and Human–Wildlife Conflict incidents from 2019 to 2024 in forest-fringe villages of the Indian Sundarbans. I've also volunteered with WWF Kolkata and Vrikshit Foundation.
I use QGIS, ArcGIS, SPSS, JAMOVI, and Microsoft Office to support environmental research. My work is grounded in ecology, wildlife and biodiversity, remote sensing and GIS, hydrology, water and soil analysis, waste management, and disaster management.
