What I'm looking for

I'm looking for work where I can architect and verify production systems, solve root causes, make behaviour reproducible, and build explicit, recoverable integrations across software, data, hardware, or AI workflows.

I've built and led software systems across banking, search, healthcare, industrial automation, and live trading for more than two decades. My recent work includes a live futures execution fleet in C# .NET 8 and Rust coordinated by Python, with broker reconciliation on restart, bar-level parity diagnostics and an out-of-process kill switch, and a separate multi-venue execution platform in TypeScript on Fastify, Prisma and PostgreSQL handling CLOB execution, partial fills, position synchronisation, idempotency and audit logging.

I began on QNX plant-floor systems for Siderar, integrating Level 2 process control with PLCs and SAP. Today, I bring the same focus on clean interfaces, root-cause debugging, testable behaviour, recovery after failure, and documentation traceable to code, logs, or tests.

Custom communication software using shared memory locally and Ethernet in promiscuous mode across the plant, polling PLCs and broadcasting process data so every node held the current plant state in real time. Integrated Level 2 with SAP single-handedly over a year.
