At Songfinch, I designed and built an AI customer agent using the Claude API to replace a third-party chatbot vendor. It includes user-scoped tools, cited help center answers, regression evaluations based on real conversations, and token and cost monitoring.
I also migrated Songfinch's artist recommendation engine to OpenSearch, building a filtered retrieval layer with ranking based on artist selection rates and a PostgreSQL fallback. I added automated reindexing to keep search available during deployments.
Before Songfinch, I built and maintained Rails applications at Rootstrap for US-based clients, and developed Bluesight at IBM, an internal application with 60k+ users. Earlier at IBM, I worked in performance and capacity analysis and Windows Server administration.
