What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a remote medical billing or revenue cycle role where I can manage claims, denials, AR follow-up, and payer communications while maintaining HIPAA compliance and supporting timely reimbursement.

I've supported hospital revenue cycle operations at UT San Antonio Hospital, Christus Health, and Conifer Health Solutions, processing clean claims and following up on outstanding balances for timely reimbursement.

I manage AR work queues, review EOBs and ERAs, investigate denials and underpayments, and prepare written appeals for authorization, medical necessity, and billing issues. I also verify eligibility, benefits, authorizations, and coordination of benefits before billing.

Across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical services, I've worked with coding teams to resolve charge, CPT, ICD-10, modifier, and documentation discrepancies. I use Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, payer portals, and Availity to monitor claims, document payer communications, and maintain accurate billing records.
