Oscar Alvarado
@oscaralvarado1
Employment and immigration attorney who pairs rigorous legal research with practical litigation drafting and client advocacy.
What I'm looking for
I’m an attorney with hands-on experience across federal and state employment litigation, including FLSA and Title VII, as well as New York State and New York City Human Rights Law.
My work has focused on drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, vetting claims, and communicating with clients throughout intake and litigation. I’ve also supported discovery and e-discovery, handled depositions, and participated in mediations and arbitrations.
Beyond employment law, I’ve represented clients in immigration matters, appearing in EOIR proceedings and assisting with removal defense, asylum, and family-based immigration matters. I’ve also supported PERM applications and adjustment of status work.
Most recently, I’ve worked as a Legal AI Trainer, reviewing AI outputs for rigor, evaluating legal sources, and identifying reproducible failure points while collaborating with a team through Slack. I bring the same attention to quality and clarity to every drafting and research task.
