Rashida Jones
@rashidajones
Aspiring immigration and criminal justice attorney with hands-on litigation and research experience.
What I'm looking for
I am a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Laws graduate with practical law clerk experience focused on immigration, asylum, and criminal justice reform. I bring rigorous legal research, clear legal writing, and a commitment to client-centered advocacy.
In my clerkships I conducted country conditions analysis, drafted motions and court documents, developed standardized U-visa motion templates, and supported case theory and removal defense strategy. I managed client intake, maintained files in case management systems, and drafted reports to inform litigation and legislative advocacy. These responsibilities sharpened my ability to translate complex legal issues into practical legal strategies under supervision.
I lead student organizations to design outreach initiatives and community partnerships, and I seek to join a mission-driven legal team where I can contribute research, litigation support, and community-centered advocacy.
