Omar Aguilar

I am a software engineering student with hands-on experience building full-stack web applications and responsive user interfaces. I have contributed to academic and production projects, focusing on backend integration, database structure, and UI/UX implementation.

At Centro de Desarrollo I helped design and develop web applications that improved data management and reporting, working in multidisciplinary teams and following agile practices. I have also participated in hackathons and freelance projects where I delivered practical, user-focused solutions.

Notable projects include a university job board, an interactive weather application for Querétaro, a pet health hackathon app with Node.js and MongoDB, and a minimal e-commerce landing page optimized for WhatsApp purchases. I emphasize clean integration between frontend and backend, and real-time features where needed.

I continually expand my technical skill set through targeted courses on Next.js, Nest (Node) backend development, data structures and algorithms, and SQL for data science. I bring analytical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability to every role and seek opportunities to build impactful, maintainable software.
