What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote, HIPAA-focused role where I can support telehealth workflows, manage EMR/EHR, handle insurance verification and prior authorizations, coordinate refills and labs, and deliver clear patient communication.

I’m a detail-oriented Pharmacist with 6+ years of practice across community and hospital settings. I focus on how each patient deals with their case, so I pay very close attention to counseling and prescription safety, including detecting drug interactions and intervening on prescription errors.

As a Telehealth Pharmacist/Medical Virtual Assistant (MedEX Grand Pharmaceutical LTD, Remote), I support healthcare providers by managing 20–30 weekly patient appointments using EMR and improving scheduling efficiency. I verify insurance eligibility and process prior authorizations through Availity and CoverMyMeds, coordinate prescription refills, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation using SOAP note format.

I also support telehealth consultations by preparing charts, uploading lab results, and documenting visit summaries, while handling inbound and outbound patient communication via phone, email, and secure portals.
