I’m a detail-oriented accounting professional with 5+ years of experience spanning financial management and business process support. I’m known for maintaining accurate records, driving compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making by combining technical accounting knowledge with real-world operations in both corporate and SME environments.

In my current role as an Accounting Officer at Axiom Gold Limited, I oversee daily inventory operations by confirming inventory balances and ensuring accurate real-time stock tracking on QuickBooks Online. I also manage finance operations like vendor payments, customer receipts, and bank reconciliations, while reviewing the Trial Balance and general ledger postings to ensure posting accuracy. Beyond accounting entries, I improve customer experience through timely invoice postings, updated customer payment records, and correct customer statements—handling enquiries and payment complaints as needed.

Before that, I worked as a Cash and Teller at Zenith Bank Plc, where I educated customers on e-banking solutions (including USSD codes, scan to pay, mobile, and Internet banking) and supported them with product and service guidance. I balanced cash tills daily, recorded transactions promptly and accurately in line with bank procedures, and ensured compliance with internal controls and established policies.

I also built audit and compliance experience as an Audit Trainee at Hegbo J & Co. and as an Accounting Officer (NYSC) in the Federal Capital Territory Administration budget department. I conducted client spot checks, prepared weekly/monthly bank reconciliation statements, supported month-end/year-end stock counts, prepared trial balances and financial statements, handled fixed assets schedules, and managed monthly VAT remittance and tax return submissions. I’m currently completing my ACCA professional qualification (ACCA—Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), and I bring that same rigor to every task.
