I support financial and administrative operations with a strong emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and operational efficiency. As a Finance and Account Officer in the Lagos State Local Government Service, I handle documentation, record keeping, compliance with public service regulations, and internal reporting.

I contribute to budget monitoring, payment processing, and internal reporting activities, while also providing support for audit queries and internal control procedures. I aim to make processes audit-ready from the start by strengthening controls and following regulatory expectations.

Before this role, I built practical audit exposure as a Graduate Trainee at BDO Accounting Firm, assisting audit teams with planning and execution of statutory and internal audits. I prepared audit working papers and schedules, supported bank reconciliations and stock counts, and contributed to tax documentation and compliance procedures.

I also strengthened my finance operations foundation through banking and administration work at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTCO) and Safemir Limited. I processed high volumes of customer transactions using FINACLE and ICS with strict accuracy (including RTGS, NEFT, and clearing cheques), balanced cash drawers daily, and resolved customer complaints—then helped set up business operations with CAC registration, basic accounting systems for inventory/revenue/expenses, payroll processing, and audit-ready records. I’m currently pursuing ACA (In View) and QuickBooks Accounting Certification, and I rely on tools like Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to deliver clear, reliable reporting.
