Oliver Lacap

Full-stack software engineer with close to a decade of experience building reliable, production-grade systems across the banking, enterprise, and education sectors. I enjoy the full arc of software delivery — understanding what a business actually needs, designing a clean solution, and seeing it through to a stable go-live.

Most recently, I worked as a Full-Stack Developer for DFlow (Australia), building and maintaining logistics and accounting platforms end to end. On the backend I worked with .NET (8/10) and ASP.NET Core, designing event-driven microservices with RabbitMQ, Event Sourcing and CQRS, backed by MongoDB and shipped through Docker and CI/CD pipelines to Azure. On the frontend I built modern, responsive interfaces with Next.js, React, and TypeScript. I integrated third-party logistics carriers, implemented thermal shipping-label printing, and connected enterprise systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Beyond my core stack, I also develop in Python and build backend-driven applications on Appwrite — handy for spinning up services and side projects quickly. Before all this, I worked as a Systems Analyst at Philippine Savings Bank — delivering customer-facing products like mobile time deposit and online account opening — and customised Microsoft Dynamics AX / 365 Finance & Operations at Yondu. That mix of regulated banking, ERP, and greenfield product work has made me comfortable owning problems from requirements all the way to production.
