Olean Baraka

I’m an Architectural Designer with a diploma from JKUAT (Nairobi Institute of Technology), combining design practice with hands-on construction-site experience. I translate conceptual briefs into resolved, well-documented proposals while keeping a strong eye on visual communication.

From my architectural internship, I executed comprehensive on-site documentation and progress reporting, including systematic site inspections and material specification recording. I coordinated design drawings with on-site execution to strengthen my understanding of structural assembly, material performance, and construction sequencing.

Professionally, I’m driven by BIM-based modelling, 3D visualisation (including spatial analysis), and the ability to support participatory architectural design. I aim to uphold design intent through clear communication and organized site documentation.

Alongside architecture, I’ve built experience as a Social Media Manager & Brand Designer—conceptualising and producing visual campaigns for Instagram and X while maintaining consistent brand identity. I bring that same clarity and attention to detail to design thinking, visual storytelling, and presentation.
