Tyron Larry

I’m an Interior Design graduate who is passionate and detail-oriented, focused on developing innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. I’m also driven to strengthen my ability to collaborate effectively with clients and professionals while applying design knowledge in real-world projects.

I’m currently doing a degree after successfully completing my diploma at Nairobi Institute of Technology (2022–2025), and I’m actively building experience beyond the classroom. My approach blends creativity with practical execution—designing solutions that work well and hold up in real settings.

As a Student Representative for the AAK Interior Design Chapter (Architectural Association of Kenya), I represented student voices within the interior design fraternity at an associational level (2025–Present). I facilitate communication between students and professional members, participate in events and forums to advance interior design in Kenya on behalf of students, and manage the chapter’s social media accounts.

Through my Attachment – Affordable Housing Project (Machakos, 2024), I gained hands-on experience in space planning and cost-aware design. I assisted in space planning of affordable housing units, collaborated and coordinated with architects, engineers, and contractors to align interior plans with structural design and presentation requirements, and oversaw site installations of finishes, fixtures, and furniture to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
