I’m looking to keep growing on a product with real users at real scale, where I can own backend systems, collaborate across teams, and focus on both customer experience and fast, reliable response times.

I’m a backend engineer with two years in Nigerian fintech, focused on building backend systems that solve real-world problems. I collaborate continuously with product, frontend, and other engineering teams—integrating my work with theirs to deliver features that balance customer experience and response time.

In my recent role, I integrated Paystack behind a provider-agnostic interface, introduced Redis caching (cut database load by 30%), and shipped safer releases using feature flags. I also built configurable rate limiting, and developed file management plus event-driven notification infrastructure that supports swapping storage or delivery providers without code changes.
