Oceanne Razafindratsira

I am an undergraduate Bachelor of Science (Hons) Psychology student with a focus on counselling skills, currently studying at Middlesex University Mauritius. I am passionate about promoting mental well-being in educational settings and supporting children through early intervention and psychoeducational work.

I bring hands-on experience as an assistant educator in a family setting and as a teaching assistant volunteer working with kindergarten through grade 6, where I supervised children, supported classroom activities, and applied Montessori tutoring techniques. I have also assisted in psychoeducational assessment for children aged 3–9.

My background includes a public speaking and journalism traineeship where I created content, designed a blog, wrote reviews, and produced promotional materials, strengthening my communication and content-creation skills. I am multilingual in English and French and hold certifications in first aid and ocean rescue, plus a teaching assistant volunteering certificate.

I am positive, creative, and dynamic, guided by a belief in building strong children through community-focused mental health work. I aim to contribute empathetic listening, ethical responsibility, and reliable organizational support to educational or community mental health roles.
