I’m an HPCSA-registered Phlebotomist with 8 years of clinical laboratory experience at Ampath Pathology Laboratories, where I’ve built strong hands-on specimen collection expertise and supported operational ownership at cluster level.
In my role, I help maintain quality management systems and ISO-aligned compliance, monitor quality metrics (NPS, CSI), and support corrective actions from monthly quality reviews and internal/external audits. I also contribute to cluster budget oversight by tracking cost trends and supporting identification of savings and revenue-enhancing opportunities.
I bring a leadership mindset to day-to-day operations—mentoring colleagues, supporting recruitment, scheduling, and leave management, and chairing or supporting disciplinary inquiries in line with the BCEA and EE Act. As my organization’s SHE Representative, I embed safety awareness through hazard identification and incident reporting, and I’m currently expanding into digital content creation and health information management.
