I’m a Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience designing and building scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and cloud-native architectures across financial services and manufacturing. I specialize in SQL, SparkSQL, PySpark, Python, and orchestration with Apache Airflow and SSIS, while working deeply in the AWS and Hadoop ecosystems.

In my current role, I led an end-to-end Oracle SQL to AWS cloud migration, handling data cleansing, schema transformation, and process optimization using Amazon EMR. I took complete ownership of migrating 10 Oracle ETL jobs to AWS within a week—redesigning each pipeline for cloud compatibility and ensuring zero data loss throughout cutover—while also leading and mentoring a cross-functional team of 8 engineers.

I focus on data quality, governance, and continuous improvement through UAT and primary/foreign-key constraint enforcement to support compliance requirements. I also automate repetitive ETL work (including SSIS password-change automation saving 10+ hours per cycle) and accelerate reporting with SQL- and pipeline-driven analytics, plus I build BI models and Power BI dashboards using star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling. Beyond production work, I’ve applied statistical and machine learning in a Network Anomaly Detection System capstone to detect deviations from baseline network traffic patterns.
