What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to leverage my nursing expertise and passion for diabetes education, ideally in a supportive environment that values patient care and professional growth.

I am a qualified Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a certification in Diabetes Education since 2011. With over 21 years of nursing experience, I have developed a diverse background that includes intensive care, inpatient settings, occupational medicine, and outpatient clinic training.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive knowledge of various electronic medical records and charting systems, including EPIC, Meditech, and clinicomp. My role as a Diabetes Educator at Sanford Health has allowed me to interact daily with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and nursing students, enhancing my communication and problem-solving skills. I am also a presenter at the monthly diabetes support group, sharing valuable insights and support with those managing diabetes.
