Kaylin Gass

I am a dedicated Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State University, where I graduated Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.5. My experience spans both acute and long-term care settings, including med-surg/telemetry and geriatric nursing. I pride myself on my ability to educate patients and their families, particularly in chronic disease management, where I leverage my personal experience as a Type 1 Diabetic and active Omnipod user.

At UMass Memorial HealthAlliance, I deliver comprehensive care on a med-surg/telemetry unit, focusing on patient safety and effective communication. I actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. My previous role as a Nursing Assistant at Rivercourt Residences allowed me to build strong relationships with residents and families, emphasizing trust and education in daily care routines.

My clinical training has equipped me with over 600 hours of hands-on experience across various specialties, reinforcing my commitment to patient-centered education and support. I am excited to bring my clinical knowledge and lived experience to a role that focuses on empowering others in managing their health.
