I've led ADN and LVN nursing programs at Brazosport College, directing faculty, curriculum planning, student counseling, simulation design, and required Board of Nursing reporting.
At UTMB Galveston, I managed two complex research projects as a Senior Research Program Manager and Research Nurse IV. I coordinated research personnel, patient and investigator communication, IRB submissions, recruitment, informed consent, sample collection, clinical data reporting, and FDA compliance.
My nursing background includes direct pediatric IMC and PICU patient care at Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital, as well as triage, clinic, and physician-support work at Texas State University’s Student Health Center.
I've also developed training curricula and mock-code education for medical staff, prepared clinics for Joint Commission review, and mentored nursing students in classroom, skills-lab, and clinical settings.
