What I'm looking for

I seek a role in which I can implement my skills and experience in musicological research.

I am a doctoral musicologist at the University of Cambridge, where my research spans music theory and analysis, aesthetics, and performance studies. My PhD thesis interrogates the music and thought of Arnold Schoenberg.

I hold a Master of Music (Distinction) from the Royal Northern College of Music and first-class honours from the University of Cape Town. I have published peer-reviewed articles on Schoenberg and Tippett and have further submissions and projects in progress.

My teaching experience includes supervising Cambridge undergraduates in performance studies and lecturing on advanced music theory and analysis at the University of Cape Town. I have presented papers at international conferences and contributed as a reviewer and editorial assistant for academic journals.

I bring a record of research grants and scholarships, practical experience in music education and performance, multilingual abilities, and an academic ethos focused on interdisciplinary collaboration.
