Julius Olaniyan

I'm a Postdoctoral Fellow at Sol Plaatje University, where I lead interdisciplinary AI research in intelligent assessment, multilingual speech technologies, healthcare AI, and data-driven decision support.

I've authored 50+ Scopus- and IEEE-indexed publications and developed AI solutions for medical diagnosis, fraud detection, multilingual speech translation, intelligent grading, precision agriculture, and climate intelligence. My work combines deep learning, Graph Neural Networks, Transformer models, computer vision, NLP, and explainable AI to make complex systems more transparent and useful.

I've also taught and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate researchers across multiple universities, mentoring 40+ projects while developing curricula in programming, software engineering, data mining, mobile computing, and computer science. I'm committed to responsible, human-centred AI and collaborative research that addresses real societal challenges.
