Neil Mehta

I’m a B.Tech Computer Science student at IIIT Delhi, focused on building secure, reliable software and turning messy data into useful decisions. I pair strong fundamentals in Data Structures & Algorithms, DBMS, and OOP with hands-on work across React, Flask/FastAPI, and production-style API design.

In my SDE Intern role at Asadel Technologies, I developed a role-based web dashboard for a fire and smoke detection product, enabling real-time visualization of camera feeds, incident logs, and alerts. I also designed secure backend REST APIs with JWT-based authentication and role-based access control to improve reliability, maintainability, and controlled data access.

I’ve also led multiple NLP and ML efforts, from building an end-to-end disaster monitoring pipeline (LLaMA-2 embeddings over 1,100+ tweets and cosine-similarity retrieval) to building ensemble machine learning models for peptide toxicity classification (89% accuracy, 95.4% ROC-AUC; later improved to 92.6%). Alongside that, I created resume intelligence and secure records systems using SpaCy/Transformers and Streamlit, and I’m motivated by measurable impact—like 88% candidate–job matching precision—plus strong engineering practices.
