At American Express, I’m migrating Orbit, the fraud-ring detection platform, to scalable distributed processing with Airflow, Dataproc/PySpark, and BigQuery. I’m also building centralized automated testing infrastructure for fraud scanners.
As a Software Engineer I at American Express, I supported the migration of 400+ fraud-detection scanners to GCP and designed the migration system architecture blueprint. I also modernized four legacy fraud-detection applications and created a reusable Airflow DAG for UAT/PIV reporting that became a standard solution across engineering teams.
I designed an AI-powered engineering productivity agent that automates PII and infrastructure access requests through Slack approval workflows. I also enhanced internal AI code-transformation agents with PII detection, schema validation, and auto-remediation.
My projects include an automated daily news briefing pipeline, an AI-powered equity research platform, and Edubot, a RAG chatbot for university-specific queries. My work has been recognized with the American Express Centurion Award (2026), and I co-authored a comparative evaluation of LLMs for placement-related prompts published in Springer’s Lecture Notes on Networks and Systems.
