At Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center, I lead nursing education, competency development, and evidence-based practice initiatives in acute care. I helped earn Age-Friendly Health System Level 2 Committed to Care recognition, making Roseville the second Kaiser Permanente Northern California hospital to receive the distinction.
Through NICHE, I designed and led geriatric nursing education that helped develop 120 Geriatric Resource Nurses. I also facilitated a gerontological certification preparation course that contributed to a 90% increase in GERO-BC certification.
I've built my career across staff development, clinical education, bedside nursing, charge nurse leadership, and hospital operations at Kaiser Permanente, Dignity Health, Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, and Kindred Hospital.
I'm a doctorally prepared, board-certified gerontological nurse committed to age-friendly care, evidence-based practice, documentation improvement, and helping nurses grow through education and mentorship.
