What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a role where I can apply my procurement and accounting experience to handle invoices and cash accurately, collaborate in a harmonious team, and continue growing through leadership and practical challenges—supported by my ACCA CAT progress.

I’m currently a Purchase Requisitions Officer, responsible for procuring the Authority’s raw materials and assets, and for receipting all invoices from suppliers. I also work as a Cashier, encashing customer bills for services including new connections, dredging of sewer systems, adjustments to accounts, and debt recovery—so accuracy and accountability matter every day.

From 2009 to 2013, I worked as a Teller at Scotia Bank Trinidad and Tobago Limited, handling cash transactions, wire transfers, drafts, cheque encashment, and foreign exchange payments for loans and credit cards. I maintained and balanced ABM’s daily, promoted and sold the bank’s products, and supported team growth by training new telling staff while moving toward teller supervisor responsibilities.

Earlier, I served as an Accounts Clerk/Accounts Department Acting Supervisor at Inflite Catering (Coco Reef Resorts & Spa, Coconut Bay, Crown Point Tobago), where I maintained timesheet calculations and compiled monthly financial statements with the company’s accountant. I prepared purchase orders, monitored inventory quantities for sufficiency, reordered when necessary, and supported operational delivery through daily delivery notes and invoices for flights, including resolving passenger queries and supervising on-board catering.

My foundation includes administrative and customer-facing roles across banks, hotels, and consultancies, plus data-focused experience as an Enumerator with the Central Statistical Office in the 2000 Census. I’m also advancing my professional qualifications through ACCA (CAT)—with CAT papers 1, 2 and 3 completed—and I bring strong interpersonal skills, honesty, responsibility, and a team-first leadership style to every function I support.
