I am a microbiologist and bioinformatician with hands-on experience in comparative genomics, proteomics, molecular docking, and computational tool development. I completed a BSc in Microbiology with a strong curriculum in molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics.
As a visiting junior bioinformatician and freelancer, I identified novel endonucleases in metagenomic samples, engineered enzymes in silico for industrial applications, performed virtual screening with AutoDock Vina and PyMOL, analyzed differential gene expression using GEO datasets and R, and authored manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals. I also developed gene-to-protein prediction models, created custom Python and R scripts for biological data processing, and conducted proteomics data analysis for clients.
