What I'm looking for

I seek a role that fosters community engagement and allows me to advocate for underserved populations.

I am a dedicated social work student at Texas Woman's University, where I maintain a 3.9 GPA and have been recognized on the Chancellor's List. My academic journey is complemented by my minors in Psychology and Political Science, which enhance my understanding of the complexities of human behavior and societal structures. As a Touchstone Honors Scholar and Legacy Leader, I am committed to academic excellence and community service.

In my current role as an Inclusion Counselor at the YMCA, I develop behavior intervention plans and provide one-on-one support for children with disabilities, ensuring they have access to inclusive program environments. My volunteer work with Opening Doors International Services allows me to assist asylum seekers, advocating for their rights and helping them navigate complex application processes. Additionally, my internship with Communities in Schools of North Texas has equipped me with the skills to deliver crisis intervention and support at-risk students, further solidifying my commitment to social justice and community engagement.
