What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to advocate for individuals in need and promote community well-being.

I am a dedicated social work student with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from the University of Montevallo, where I have been recognized on the Dean's List and President's List. My academic journey has equipped me with thorough knowledge in social work, psychology, disabilities, and family dynamics. I have a passion for helping others and have actively engaged in community service projects, including mental health awareness workshops for at-risk youth.

Throughout my education, I have gained extensive experience in social work and disability services. As the Secretary of the Social Work Club, I provided leadership and organized various community service initiatives. My practicum at Disability Support Services allowed me to create tailored plans for student accommodations, ensuring that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed. I am committed to advocating for individuals facing psychosocial barriers and have interned at Shelby Emergency Assistance, where I connected families with vital resources during challenging times.
