What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build practical Arabic NLP, OCR, document AI, and RAG systems, with opportunities to fine-tune and evaluate LLMs, develop reliable data pipelines, and contribute to production-focused AI products.

I'm developing Safha, an open-source Arabic OCR dataset-engineering platform that pairs scanned historical books with human-verified transcriptions for OCR training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.

For historical Arabic OCR and knowledge-model fine-tuning, I've prepared supervised datasets and applied SFT, LoRA, and QLoRA to Qwen-family models. I evaluate checkpoints through inference testing, model comparison, and qualitative and quantitative error analysis.

I've also built Mini-RAG, a modular FastAPI application for document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector indexing, retrieval, and semantic search using MongoDB and Qdrant.

As a Teaching Assistant at Hurghada University, I deliver practical labs in Python, algorithms, AI, and machine learning while mentoring students on NLP, Transformers, Hugging Face, debugging, and reproducible workflows.
