I built Viora, a voice-first Arabic-English assistant that helps visually impaired students search and listen to course materials. The project brings together speech recognition, OCR, semantic search, and text-to-speech; I also implemented Arabic-English code-switching speech-to-text with a Whisper-based model.
At Alexandria National University, I delivered weekly NLP sections and labs to fourth-year students, teaching embeddings and transformers. I’m seeking an entry-level AI/ML Engineer or Data Scientist role, and I’ve also built a LangGraph research assistant with retrieval, tool calling, and a FastAPI service.
