At Origence, I took an existing payment service through its split into Go and Node.js services on AWS, owning the service boundaries and Go authorization service. Payment latency fell from 520ms to 340ms, and hardening payment retries and webhook delivery cut duplicate-charge support tickets by 38%.
I also reworked the KYC onboarding flow and built an Angular review console for compliance analysts, reducing median onboarding time from 2.1 days to 11 hours. By integrating the data science team's fraud-scoring model into the payment path, I helped reduce chargebacks by 19% at a 0.8% false-decline rate.
At Origence, I contributed to a production LLM support assistant using OpenAI and Claude APIs with RAG, and improved the customer transactions dashboard for about 18,000 monthly active users. I also introduced live payment status updates and caching to reduce API latency and load.
Previously, at OptimalBlue, I worked on mortgage application and underwriting products. I improved the application flow, delivered save-and-resume APIs, and helped bring key borrower flows to WCAG 2.1 AA; I also hold an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification.
