At Manafa Technologies, I lead the Data & Analytics Engineering function and design enterprise Data Warehouse and Lakehouse solutions on GCP, including BigQuery. I establish governed data models, metadata, lineage, and quality practices for trusted analytics.
At Wateen Telecom, I managed BI and Data Engineering, developing Power BI reporting and data architecture for its Data Lake. I worked with Apache Spark, PySpark, Kafka, and Informatica to build and optimize data pipelines.
Earlier, at Contour Software and Next Spectrum Ltd., I designed ETL architecture and Snowflake data models and processes. At Jazz, I led a team responsible for EDWH system management and operations, re-engineered the legacy EDWH, and helped resolve a backlog of ETL issues related to a corporate merger.
