Momen Yasser
@momenyasser
Entry-level software engineer building scalable full-stack apps with deep-learning insight.
What I'm looking for
I’m a software engineering graduate focused on building practical, high-impact systems. My bachelor thesis used CNNs to detect Alzheimer’s disease from 40,000+ MRI scans, reaching 96.8% accuracy.
In my 5-month Software Engineer Intern role, I built an internal news application using RSS feeds to keep employees up to date. I also created RESTful APIs for engagement tracking with Express.js, PostgreSQL, and Prisma, and delivered an admin analytics dashboard with Next.js and Tailwind CSS while collaborating through Agile sprint planning and code reviews.
I enjoy shipping product-ready features end to end through projects like a real-time collaborative editor (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Convex, Liveblocks) with role-based permissions. I’ve also built a microservices-based e-commerce system (Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Kafka, Docker) and a ticketing website with reusable UI components and performance optimizations using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
